Job Description
Required Qualifications:
- Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Dallas, TX or be willing to relocate to these areas. This position may require travel in the US.
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- At least 2 years of Information Technology experience.
- At least 1 year experience in Unix and Shell Scripting and SQL/ RDBMS
- Work actively with team members to analyze and resolve application issues
- Incident Management (Incident resolution, stakeholder communication, bridge management, postmortem analysis, and action items)
- User Ticket management (Backlog review, User interface and manual prioritization)
- Planned/unplanned events – Support BCP (Business Continuity Planning), Migration, Holiday activities
- Coordinate release and post release support and handover
- Implement bug fixes, minor enhancements etc.
- Identify defects/discrepancies to identify the root cause by debugging or analyzing logs
- Improve application stability by observing patterns, recurring alerts or issues for permanent fix or automation.

Preferred Qualification:
- Knowledge in analyzing and optimizing PL/SQL statements (stored procedures and functions)
- Experience in one of the following Scripting languages: Shell script, Perl, or Python etc.
- Experience with Sybase/DB2/ Mongo or MemSQL.
- Salesforce Support experience is good to have.
- Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
