Summary:

The Research Assistant (RA) will support the Postsecondary Education & Economics Research (PEER) Center in conducting actionable, rigorous research to support policymakers in designing strategies that support more equitable outcomes in higher education.

Essential Functions:

• The RA will assist with communications and writing.

• The RA will assist with research and analysis.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

• Part-time.

• 15 hours per week.

• This position will run from October 2025 to May 2026.

Salary Range:

• $17.95 per hour.

Required Education and Experience:

• The RA must be an undergraduate student at American University with an interest in economics and coursework.

• Other experience in coding with Python and or Stata.
