Job Summary
The Pricing Strategy Associate Analyst plays a pivotal role in driving profitable growth by providing comprehensive financial analysis and forecasting for credit program portfolios. This position supports strategic corporate development decisions for new business and contract renewals, promotional pricing, and performance tracking. Utilizing a data-driven approach and a deep understanding of portfolio profitability, the Analyst develops insightful analyses and recommendations for senior leadership. The Analyst ensures the accuracy and integrity of financial reports, reviews contracts for compliance, and presents findings and recommendations to leadership, contributing to informed decision-making and strategic initiatives.
- Develop robust financial models, including cash flow analyses using ROI, ROA, and NPV, to support business cases for strategic initiatives such as portfolio acquisitions and new business ventures. Create and present financial presentations to senior leadership, providing key insights for decision-making. - (30%)
- Conduct comprehensive financial analysis and forecasting of credit program portfolio performance, including P&L analysis and client trend analysis, to identify opportunities for profit optimization and risk mitigation. Prepare detailed analyses and recommendations for leadership. - (25%)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine key assumptions and inputs for financial models and business cases. Maintain and enhance key financial reports, ensuring data accuracy and integrity. - (20%)
- Conduct competitive and client-specific research to support strategic initiatives. Review and analyze contracts to ensure compliance with financial models and reporting requirements. Prepare and present research findings and reports to relevant stakeholders. - (15%)
- Recommend and contribute to enhancements of financial models, documentation, and reporting processes to improve efficiency and accuracy. - (10%)
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 0-1 years of experience in Financial Services, with a focus on credit-related products and services
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in Financial Services, with a focus on credit-related products and services

Work Environment

Salary Range (unless otherwise noted below):
$55,200.00 - $100,000.00Full Salary Range for position:
California: $63,500.00 - $125,000.00Colorado: $55,200.00 - $105,000.00New York: $60,700.00 - $125,000.00Washington: $58,000.00 - $115,000.00Maryland: $58,000.00 - $110,000.00Washington DC: $63,500.00 - $115,000.00Illinois: $55,200.00 - $110,000.00New Jersey: $63,500.00 - $115,000.00Vermont: $55,200.00 - $100,000.00The actual base pay within this range may be dependent upon many factors, which may include, but are not limited to, work location, education, experience, and skills.
Bread Financial offers medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, and other voluntary benefits (including basic and optional life insurance, supplemental medical plans, and short and long-term disability) to eligible associates (regular full-time associates scheduled to work 30 hours per week or more) and their spouses/domestic partners, and child(ren) under the age of 26. New associate elected coverage begins on date of hire (with the exception of disability coverage which has a 6-month waiting period). Six weeks of 100% paid parental leave for eligible parents is available after a 180-day waiting period. Hired associates can immediately enroll in Bread Financial’s 401(k) plan.
All associates receive 11 paid holidays. Associates have discretion in managing their time away from work through the Flexible Time Off (FTO) program and may need to notify and receive approval from their manager prior to taking the time off. Associates (except those located in Illinois) receive 80 hours of Paid Sick and Safe Time (“PSST”) upon hire and at the beginning of each subsequent calendar year. Illinois associates receive 40 hours of Illinois PSST upon hire and at the beginning of each subsequent calendar year and 40 hours of Illinois Paid Leave upon hire and at the beginning of each subsequent calendar year. Illinois Paid Leave must be used before associates in Illinois will be approved to take FTO.
Hired associates will be able to elect the purchase company stock during offering periods in June and December. You will be eligible for an annual incentive bonus based on individual and company performance.
