Proper Voltage is the universal integration layer between advanced batteries and real products. We remove the complexity of voltage mismatch, chemistry limitations, and integration delays that have historically locked product teams into suboptimal power solutions.

Our Battery Operating System (bOS) makes advanced chemistries like sodium-ion, LTO, and lithium-silicon plug-and-play with existing products, no redesign required. This means better safety, performance, and efficiency with zero product compromises.

Job Overview:
As the Internal Systems Engineering Lead at Proper Voltage, you will own the internal processes that turn product designs into certified, manufacturable systems. You will oversee engineering validation, testing, documentation, and release readiness across electrical, mechanical, and firmware teams. Your focus will be on building and enforcing the structure that allows Proper Voltage to scale product development efficiently and meet UL and other regulatory certification requirements.

This role is ideal for a technically strong and highly organized engineer who takes pride in process discipline, validation rigor, and clear documentation. You will be the backbone of engineering operations and a key partner in getting products through certification and into production.
