Project Manager / Project Coordinator – Industrial Construction (Onsite - Fredericksburg, VA)
Salary: $90,000 – $130,000 + Bonuses | Direct Hire | Onsite | Company Vehicle or Allowance
A well-established industrial construction firm—specializing in petroleum equipment, fueling systems, and generator installations—is seeking a highly capable Project Manager / Project Coordinator to join their close-knit, high-performing team in Fredericksburg, VA.
What You’ll Do
You’ll work directly with leadership, including the VP and President, to help manage and streamline project execution. This is a hands-on role—part project manager, part operations coordinator—that plays a critical part in field logistics and team support.
- Coordinate 5–6 active projects weekly within a 150-mile radius (some overnight travel required)
- Manage field crews (3+ personnel per job) ensuring timely delivery of materials and equipment
- Oversee jobsite logistics, scheduling, and project documentation using tools like Microsoft Project and CF Data (Procore-based)
- Learn the business from the ground up during the first few months, working alongside partners to understand clients, operations, and culture
- Ensure smooth coordination across disciplines: civil, mechanical, and electrical components of fueling and generator systems
Ideal Candidate Profile

Must-Haves:
- 3–5 years in construction or industrial installation projects such as petroleum equipment, mechanical contracting, or related (fuel tank installation, piping, civil projects)
- Strong skills in project tracking, field operations, logistics, and crew coordination
- Willingness to work on the job site and in the field (mostly local 150mi radius)
- Strong communicator who’s not afraid to roll up their sleeves
Nice-to-Haves:
- Familiarity with CF Data, Procore, or similar project management platforms
- Experience with fueling systems for major retailers (e.g., Marathon, BP, GetGo, Wawa)
- Looking to grow into an Operations Manager or similar leadership path
