Based in Laredo, Texas, the Logistics Coordinator provides support to the supply chain activities.  As a Logistics Coordinator, you are responsible for the receiving, distribution, and inventory tasks. The Logistics Coordinator is responsible to prepare the shipping documents, invoices, packing lists and customs paperwork with precision and accuracy.  The individual must ensure that customer satisfaction and performance standards are met with optimum efficiency in a dynamic, goal-oriented environment.  

THE ROLE:
Inventory Management:
•    Monitor and maintain inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability.
•    Coordinate with suppliers to replenish stock as needed.
•    Conduct regular cycle count audits to verify inventory accuracy and identify discrepancies for both parts and Finished goods.  
•    Manage all external warehouses quarterly inventory process (8+) total. 
•    Remove/receive inventory to all external warehouses in SAP to follow Ariston SOP’s.
•    Mange all parts inventory in our New Bedford Location including periodic cycle counts, annual counts, and scrapping. 
Order Processing:
•    Process purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods.
•    Coordinate with vendors and logistics partners to track shipments and resolve any delivery issues.
•    Communicate with internal and external partner stakeholders to provide updates on order status and delivery timelines.
•    Process in SAP all external Warehouse partners internal Transfers Orders to completion. 
•    Manage all quotation of shipping LTL & FTL from Ariston Warehousess & External Partner Warehouses.
Shipping and Receiving:
•    Arrange for the shipment of outgoing orders, including selecting carriers and scheduling pickups.
•    Receive incoming shipments, inspecting for damages and verifying quantities.
•    Update shipping and receiving records in the inventory management system.
Documentation and Compliance:
•    Prepare shipping documents, including invoices, packing lists, and customs paperwork.
•    Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards governing the transportation of goods.
•    Maintain accurate records of all shipping and receiving activities.
•    Maintain Carrier Quotes for all LTL/FTL shipment  booking and recording as needed.  
•    Maintain Carrier Performance Scorecards
•    Manage all external warehouse documentation for all receipts and deliveries from Ariston owned Warehouses to External Partner Warehouses.  
•    Manage (Validation & Approval) of all Monthly invoices & PO’s directly related to our internal shipments and external partner shipments
•    Maintain various KPI spreadsheets in coordination with company standards and policies. 
•    Presentation monthly of all KPI’s to Senior Management via Powerpoint. 
Customer Service:
•    Serve as a point of contact for customer inquiries regarding order status, shipping information, and product availability for internal and external orders to all warehouses and destinations needed.
•    Address any customer concerns or issues related to logistics in a timely and professional manner.
Process Improvement:
•    Identify opportunities to streamline logistics processes and improve efficiency.
•    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and best practices.

Accepts other responsibilities as requested by the Director of Supply Chain & Logistics.


EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
The ideal candidate has a background in Supply Chain/logistics with 3 to 4 years’ experience with a two-year degree in Administrative Support or Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in administrative support working in a manufacturing environment or equivalent. They will also have: 

1.    Computer proficiency; must have intermediate experience with MS Office – Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint with 3 to 4 years’ experience.
2.    Expertise in establishing and using modern ERP systems: MRP execution, Inventory Management, Warehousing and Distribution.
3.    Maintaining comprehensive and accurate records with attention to detail.
4.    Excellent telephone skills managing multiple telephone lines while maintaining professionalism.
5.    Excellent communication skills.
6.    Ability to work independently on projects.


OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:
1.    Language Skills – Ability to read, write and speak English/Spanish also a plus.
2.    Mathematical Skills – Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts. 
3.    Reasoning Ability – Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.  
4.    Vision Requirements – Close and distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception; and ability to adjust focus.
5.    Work Environment – Quiet conditions in the office.  Moderate noise conditions in Warehouse area.  
6.    Personal, Protective Equipment - Ability to wear safety glasses and other job related personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
7.    Travel – As needed, anticipated less than 5%
