We are seeking a Cloud Engineer 3 with strong expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (D365 CE) and the Power Platform. This role goes beyond building solutions - it’s about creating operational excellence at scale. You’ll help establish and maintain a Center of Excellence (CoE) that drives governance, security, reliability, and reusability across the platform.
Much of your engineering work will focus on developing hardened, scalable frameworks and repeatable operations that empower D365 CE and Power Platform environments to thrive in a secure, compliant, and mission-critical setting. You’ll work at the intersection of engineering and operations: ensuring high availability, seamless integrations, proactive monitoring, and well-defined processes that keep systems stable and teams effective.
By combining technical depth with operational discipline, you will play a key role in enabling the Church to deliver innovative, low-code solutions while ensuring long-term stability, governance, and business impact.

Responsibilities
Design, deploy, and support hybrid systems optimized for D365 CE and Power Platform.
Code APIs to integrate cloud and on-premises systems and extend platform capabilities.
Develop applications designed to enhance or extend features offered by cloud platforms.
Establish operational frameworks, monitoring, and automation that support scalable CoE practices.
Implement security, compliance, and governance measures across environments.
Respond to escalated incidents, ensuring resilience and root-cause resolution.
Author and maintain documentation, runbooks, and operational playbooks.
Contribute to product and operational roadmaps for CRM and low-code platforms.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent experience.
4+ years in systems engineering/operations experience in a large structured environment.
At least 2 years of cloud computing and development experience.
Experience administering, integrating, and governing enterprise D365 CE and Power Platform solutions.
Knowledge of Azure resources:
Functions/durable functions, web apps, managed identities, svc bus, event grid, Entra
Proficiency in scripting and coding (C#, React, JSON, YAML etc.,)
Proficiency in Fetch XML, Dataverse and other APIs, configuration management, and automation tools.
Familiarity with ITIL processes (Change, Incident, Problem).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred
Microsoft Power Platform or D365 CE certifications.
Microsoft Azure certifications.
