OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE
Echelon Supply & Service is seeking a proactive and driven Outside Sales Representative to join our team at our office located in Calgary, AB. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as an ambassador of Echelon Supply & Service, representing our brand with integrity and professionalism.
- Travel within the assigned sales territory to meet with prospects and customers.
- Conduct both calls and face-to-face meetings with customers.
- Cultivate new business opportunities through cold calling and follow-ups.
- Build and maintain relationships with new and repeat customers.
- Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of our products and services, understanding how they can benefit customers.
- Meet and exceed sales goals.
- Monitor industry competitors, new products, and market conditions to better understand customer needs.
- Provide ongoing support to customers post-sale to ensure satisfaction and identify further sales opportunities.
- Regularly submit reports on sales activities into the company’s CRM software, maintaining clean and updated records for all leads and customers.
- Adhere to all company procedures, values, and policies to accurately represent the company to all potential and current customers.
- Overnight travel may occasionally be required for sales activities, training, or trade shows.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven experience as an outside sales representative;
- Experience in Industrial Distribution (Hydraulic, Pneumatic and/or Fluid Power) considered an asset;
- Must possess superior problem-solving, analytical, negotiation and communication skills;
- Strong interpersonal skills and willing to work independently;
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively in a fast-paced work environment;
- Valid driver’s license required.
