Salary Range:    $16.66 - $16.66 Hourly

Description

GENERAL FUNCTION

Responsible for general cleaning and maintenance of facilities and grounds.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

The incumbent must have the skills and experience needed to effectively and safely utilize tools and equipment necessary to keep the facility cleaned and well-maintained. An understanding of the importance of this position in ensuring member satisfaction.

PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES

  1. Cleaning
    1. Clean offices, including vacuuming, dusting, windows and emptying trash and recycling.
    2. Clean meeting rooms including vacuuming, dusting windows and trash.
    3. Perform dry and wet mopping of program areas.
    4. Vacuum hallways and program areas.
    5. Clean rest rooms and locker rooms including mopping, cleaning and sanitizing sinks, toilets and showers. Restock supplies.
    6. Empty trash and recycling bins.
    7. Wash lobby tables and counter.
    8. Perform other cleaning duties as requested.

 

  1. Administration
    1. Ensure appropriate use of all chemical supplies and ensure chemicals are stored correctly and are inaccessible to members.
    2. Keep all storage areas neat and clean.
    3. Submit supply requests to Facility Manager.
    4. Submit maintenance needs to Facility Manager.
  2. Association
    1. Wear staff nametag during all shifts.
    2. Attend department and branch staff meetings, as scheduled
    3. Assist with association special events or special projects as requested.
