POSITION SUMMARY
This position ensures engineering intent is accurately translated into manufacturing execution, supporting compliance, efficiency and product quality. Maintain, monitor and update engineering data in specified system to ensure accuracy, compliance and efficiency throughout the manufacturing product lifecycle. Ensure data and documents accurately reflect impact to quality, traceability and regulatory compliance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create and track engineering change notices (ECN) with changes made to engineering designs, product specifications, or processes, ensuring all updates are communicated to appropriate parties.
- Within the appropriate data system, maintain detailed engineering specifications, including but not limited to revision histories.
- Ensure product data aligns with engineering change orders (ECO’s) and meets aerospace, medical and industrial standards.
- Expedite and resolve issues with ECN documentation.
- May configure and control the product lifecycle management (PLM) systems to support design control, document management and change traceability.
- Ensure cross functional teams (including engineering, quality and production) have access to correct product data at each lifecycle state.
- Ensure engineering data is mapped within the appropriate systems (i.e. part number, etc.) for accurate production planning, purchasing and inventory control.
- Ensure documentation complies with AS9100, ISO 13485, NADCAP, etc.
- Maintain audit ready documentation.
- May participate in cross functional meetings to communicate applicable changes or challenges.
- Collaborate with supply chain and production teams to ensure data integrity.
- Demonstrates ability to appear for work on time, follow directions from a supervisor, interact well with co-workers, understand and follow work rules and procedures, comply with company policies and procedures, goals and objectives, and accepts constructive feedback.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or General Education Development (GED).
- Minimum five (5) years’ experience in manufacturing, engineering administration or equivalent of education and experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical information.
- High level of attention to detail, ability to multi-task and maintain organizational skills.
- Ability to utilize data management systems including ERP/MRP systems.
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple document workflows.
- Read and comprehend verbal and written instructions.

Pay Rate: The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and length of experience within the job, type, and length of experience with the industry, education, geographic location, etc.
