About the Role:
The Inventory Coordinator plays a critical role in managing and optimizing the inventory processes to ensure accurate stock levels and timely availability of products. Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or higher in supply chain management or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in inventory management or coordination, preferably in a warehouse or retail environment.
- Proficiency with inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite.
- Knowledge of supply chain and logistics principles.
- Certification in inventory management or supply chain (e.g., CPIM, CSCP).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively across departments.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and update inventory records daily to maintain accuracy and completeness.
- Coordinate with suppliers and logistics teams to track incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies between physical stock and system records.
- Collaborate with procurement and sales departments to forecast inventory requirements and adjust stock levels accordingly.
- Generate and analyze inventory reports to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for process improvements.
- Implement and maintain inventory control procedures to minimize loss, damage, and obsolescence.
- Assist in the development and execution of inventory audits and compliance checks.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams to resolve inventory-related issues promptly.
