We’re a growing, multi-location retail organization seeking a dedicated and hands-on IT Specialist to support our corporate office and retail stores. This individual will play a key role in maintaining system uptime, assisting end users, and supporting new store rollouts and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver who thrives in fast-paced environments and communicates clearly with both technical and non-technical teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide daily help desk support to corporate staff and retail store users.
- Maintain and troubleshoot hardware, software, and operating systems across multiple locations.
- Support new store openings by setting up workstations, printers, scales, network devices, and running cabling.
- Participate in multi-site rollouts, including overnight maintenance windows when required.
- Configure and maintain networking hardware, including switches, routers, and wireless access points.
- Perform regular system upgrades, user management, and documentation of network diagrams and configurations.
- Monitor store uptime and respond to technical tickets in a timely and professional manner.
- Conduct basic cabling work and network testing (Cat5e/Cat6 terminations, patch panels, labeling).
- Collaborate with store management and corporate teams to ensure seamless communication and minimal operational disruption.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate degree in IT or Computer Science (Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred).
- Certifications: CompTIA A+/Network+ (additional certifications such as CCNA or Microsoft Administrator a plus).
- Experience: 2–4 years of hands-on IT support experience, ideally in a retail or multi-location environment.
- Familiarity with point-of-sale systems, handheld scanners, and back-office workstations.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts including VLANs, DHCP, DNS, VPN, and WAN/LAN topology.
- Experience running and terminating network cabling and installing network hardware.
- Exposure to SD-WAN and firewall configuration is a plus.

- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
