The Opportunity:
The Account Support Coordinator (ASC) position is responsible for monitoring activities associated with customer orders and timelines. The ASC is responsible for monitoring, actioning, and resolving challenges associated with their dedicated customer accounts. The ASC will act as a liaison between internal departments including Sales, Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain related departments to ensure the consistent, cost-effective supply of products to contract customers. The ASC will manage and resolve inquiries related to customer purchase orders and inventories. The ASC report directly to the Project Manager.
What You’ll Do:
- Maintain and present scorecard/metrics/demand forecasts that track progress/challenges/future growth for dedicated accounts.
- Service customers in accordance with the mission and goals of the organization.
- Answer incoming phone calls and e-mails and provide support to meet the needs of the Account Support Team, customers, and MeriCal departments.
- Monitor activities associated with orders and inventory for MeriCal customers.
- Communicate effectively order status, order requirements and order lifecycle to internal and external customers.
- Collaborate the Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain related departments to ensure all customer demands, requirements and inventory needs are met.
- Address all customer issues in a timely manner by being the customer liaison to manufacturing quality, shipping and accounts receivable.
- Process customer Purchase Orders/Sales Orders via EDI or manual entry in a timely manner, maintaining all critical milestones to support on-time deliveries.
- Monitor inventory levels, requirements and pending shipments.
- Collaborate with Planning to get production work orders entered and collaborate with procurement for component inventory levels.
- Oversee the timeliness of production orders and the shipping of finished goods.
- Must be proficient in math to include fractions conversions, decimals, degrees and basic math is a must.
- Participate in daily or weekly operations meetings by being the face of the customer to ensure that order requirements (due dates, quantities, and order priorities are being met.
- Builds and maintain business relationships with client by providing prompt and accurate service to promote customer loyalty.
- Respond to questions and complaints from customers.
- This job requires you to be onsite.
What You’ll Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- High School Diploma, or equivalent.
- Associate's Degree or higher preferred, but not required.
- Minimum of 4 years' experience in a customer service role or equivalent.
- Previous, experience in a manufacturing environment required.
- Positive attitude and excellent verbal and written communications skills. Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently.
- Prior experience in the vitamin category or a related industry such as food or pharmacy.
- Ability to work with strong sense of urgency and self-motivation.
- Superb problem solving skills along with the ability to "think outside the box" to streamline tasks and processes necessary to support customer and production needs.
- Experience in Safe, Batch Master, and/or Mas 500 a plus.

A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $70,000 to $73,000. The compensation offered may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and/or education.
