Job Summary:
The Cisco Collaboration Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting Cisco Unified Communications (UC) and Collaboration solutions across enterprise environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM), Unity Connection, IM&P, Expressway, and related voice/video technologies, ensuring seamless voice, video, and messaging communication for the organization.
The Cisco Collaboration Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting Cisco Unified Communications (UC) and Collaboration solutions across enterprise environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM), Unity Connection, IM&P, Expressway, and related voice/video technologies, ensuring seamless voice, video, and messaging communication for the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
➕ Architect end-to-end Collab solutions using Cisco Collab products CUCM, Unity, IM&P, CMS, Expressway, UCCX and VC end points.
➕ Configure and troubleshoot voice gateways (CUBE, MGCP, SIP, H.323) and SIP trunks with carriers.
➕ Manage call routing, dial plans, SRST, and QoS configurations.
➕ Perform system upgrades, patches, and backup/restore operations.
➕ Integrate UC systems with Microsoft Teams, Webex, and third-party applications.
➕ Monitor system performance and resolve incidents within SLA timelines.
➕ Participate in migration projects, such as on-prem to hybrid/cloud UC deployments.
➕ Maintain documentation of configurations, change records, and design diagrams.
➕ Collaborate with security and network teams to ensure system stability and compliance.
➕ Drive adherence to ITIL processes (incident/change/problem) and ensure documentation & SOPs are up to date.
➕ Project implementation as per timeline and CSAT.
➕ Hand on experience - Cisco CUCM, Unity Connection, IM&P, Expressway, CMS, and CUBE.
➕ Troubleshoot common issues - SIP, RTP, SRST, dial plans, call routing, and codec negotiation.
➕ Analyse Logs - VoIP troubleshooting using RTMT, Wireshark, and debugs.
➕ Understanding of network fundamentals (QoS, VLANs, IP routing, DNS, DHCP).
➕ Experience with Webex Control Hub, Jabber, and Microsoft Teams integration.
Must-Have Skills:
