We are seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Corporate Accounting team in Walnut Creek. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and wants to grow within a dynamic, employee-owned firm. This position follows a hybrid work schedule, with two days per week in our Walnut Creek office and flexibility to work remotely the remainder of the week.

Placement within the stated pay range will be determined based upon education, experience, and qualifications.


Responsibilities
  • Process full-cycle Accounts Payable, including reviewing and coding invoices, expense reports, and corporate credit card transactions
  • Prepare batch check runs, wire transfers, and ACH payments
  • Assist with the month-end A/P close process and account reconciliations
  • Research and resolve discrepancies or issues related to vendor invoices or employee expense reports
  • Maintain vendor relationships and respond to inquiries promptly and professionally
  • Organize and maintain accounting files and documentation
  • Support the accounting team with other duties as assigned


  • Qualifications
  • 2+ years of direct work experience with high-volume, full-cycle AP
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and Adobe Acrobat
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Experience with Deltek VantagePoint or a similar ERP system.
