Job Summary:
The Business Analyst – Supply Chain is responsible for analyzing, optimizing, and supporting supply chain processes across procurement, logistics, inventory management, and order fulfilment. This role bridges the gap between business needs and technology solutions, ensuring efficient and cost-effective supply chain operations through data-driven insights and process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process Analysis & Optimization
- Analyze current supply chain workflows and identify inefficiencies or bottlenecks.
- Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance performance, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
- Data Analysis & Reporting
- Collect, interpret, and visualize supply chain data (e.g., inventory levels, lead times, supplier performance).
- Develop dashboards and KPIs to monitor supply chain health and support decision-making.
- Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with procurement, logistics, finance, IT, and operations teams to understand business requirements.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather input and align on solutions.
- System & Tool Support
- Support ERP and supply chain management systems (SAP)
- Assist in system upgrades, testing, and user training related to supply chain modules.
- Project Management
- Lead or support supply chain-related projects such as warehouse automation, supplier onboarding, or demand planning initiatives.
- Ensure timely delivery of project milestones and communicate progress to stakeholders.
- Risk & Compliance
- Monitor supply chain risks and support mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations (e.g., sustainability, trade laws).
Qualifications:
- You hold a master’s degree in economics or science, with option of IT. Or a bachelor’s degree combined with relevant work experience.
- You have at least 3 years of relevant experience in the domain of Supply Chain.
- You have an overall knowledge of SAP. Previous experience with S/4 Hana and SAP Fiori Cloud is a plus.
- You possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills and are able to effectively prioritize and carry out tasks in a demanding environment.
- You are customer oriented, with excellent communication skills, capable to defend your ideas, but open to listen to others as well.
- You’re fluent in Dutch and English.
- You’re eager to learn and you have a huge appetite for innovative technologies and changing trends in the market.
