A day in the life:

As a Packaging Engineer at Monster Energy, you'll dive into the thrilling world of energy drinks, teaming up with dynamic departments like Supply Operations, Quality, NPD, Finance, and our Brand Managers. Get ready to mix it up with bottlers, packaging, and equipment suppliers as you lead exciting projects focused on manufacturing, productivity, and groundbreaking innovation. You'll be the hero of quality audits, validations, and troubleshooting adventures, tackling every packaging challenge head-on. Embark on a quest to discover new suppliers and cutting-edge packaging solutions, while optimizing Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and pioneering process improvements across Monster's vibrant network. Be a key player in the creation and enhancement of production lines, helping to craft the future of all our exhilarating beverages!

The impact you'll make:

  • Support the development, validation, and launch of new package at local market.
  • Assist with new packaging initiatives for Monster in international markets.
  • Manage supplier information, specifications, and quotes for packaging.
  • Work closely with packaging suppliers on qualification, quality assurance, productivity, audit, troubleshooting etc.
  • Align product development, manufacturing, and supply availability plans for new product launching.
  • Coordinate with supply operations, source co‐packing solution for new packaging innovation.
  • Source best in class packaging and filling technology to support efficiency and optimization driving improvements in equipment capability etc.
  • Manage quotes and budgets for capital expenditures getting approval of business case and new line development, specific equipment, track, and trend projects with Gantt charts
  • Evaluate the feedback to identify and segment key stakeholders, understand their needs, and identify communication/interaction routines
  • Align and prioritize projects with key business stakeholders and region leadership. Support a regular review of the stakeholder based on their needs and identify communication, interaction, or routines.

Who you are:

  • Prefer a Bachelor's Degree in the field of ‐‐ Engineering preferred
  • Additional Experience Desired: Between 3‐5 years of experience in manufacturing and packaging
  • Additional Experience Desired: Between 3‐5 years of experience in product development, specifically beverage industry
  • Computer Skills Desired: Advance user Microsoft Office, Power BI preferred
  • Preferred Certifications: Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Software Experience (SAP Preferred), Strong understanding of Material requirements planning (MRP)
  • Additional Knowledge or Skills to be Successful in this role: Fluent in English
