About the role:
Entry-level payroll professional. Prepares and coordinates payroll related processes, maintains payroll related information and records, compiles data, and responds to payroll queries.
Job Description
- Prepares and conducts payroll-related processes to enable timely completion.
- Manages and maintains payroll information, checks and audits records to ensure accuracy.
- Compiles data and prepares reports for analysis.
- Maintains payroll operations by following policies and procedures to enable smooth operations of the function.
- Runs and audits reports, reviewing to solve for possible errors.
- Responds to payroll inquiries to clarify issues.
Role Purpose:
- Payroll reconciliations
- Maintenance of the payroll blueprint
- Report creation and analysis
- Collaboration with vendors
- Monitor banking files and address rejects
- Basic testing/QA of change requests
- In-depth research of escalated issues
- Payroll Lodgment
Key Role & Responsibilities:
- Employee inquiry resolution and advanced issue resolution
- Daily, proactive interactions with key internal business partners and customers
- Integration data management (connector between Workday and SAP)
Minimum Requirements:
- 3 -5 years payroll experience in India Payroll HR and/or Payroll IT experience
- SAP preferred with knowledge of Workday and associated integrations
- Progressive analytical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (excel, word, etc.)
- Working knowledge of country and localized payroll legislation
- Local legislation knowledge
- Working knowledge of International Assignees
- Additional Competencies:
- Competent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-starter able to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
- Strong organization skills
- Team Player
- Proficient in English (speak & write)
- Duties may require overtime hours to support payroll production
- Ability to work with sensitive and confidential data
