What you’ll do:
Assist in inventory management, ensuring materials are accurately tracked and replenished to meet production demands.
Collaborate with the Supply Chain and Operations teams to analyze and improve materials flow processes.
Monitor and update inventory databases, ensuring data accuracy and timeliness.
Support supplier communication and relationship management, addressing order statuses, lead times, and delivery issues.
Help coordinate cycle counts and investigate discrepancies to maintain inventory accuracy.
Contribute to materials forecasting and demand planning activities to align supply with production schedules.
Create and deliver reports on key supply chain metrics, including inventory levels, on-time delivery, and materials usage.
Participate in process improvement projects focused on reducing costs, improving efficiency, and enhancing supplier performance.
Work cross-functionally with engineering, production, and procurement teams to support overall operational success.
What you’ll need:
Education:
Currently pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Skills and Experience:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (e.g., pivot tables, data analysis).
Basic knowledge of supply chain and materials management concepts.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus but not required.
Other Requirements:
Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
A proactive attitude and willingness to learn new processes and tools.
