Job Title: Part-Time Math Intervention Tutor
Hours: 8–12 hours per week, flexible schedule during the school day
Compensation: $25–$32 per hour (depending on experience) Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data, applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, degrees, and certifications.

Position Overview
Holy Rosary School prepares children to be living disciples of Jesus Christ. We educate the whole child; academically, spiritually, socially and emotionally. Our parish school embraces the dignity of each person by igniting the love of learning and promoting a safe, supportive community to serve God and others. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Math Intervention Tutor to support students in Grades 1–8 in building confidence and skills in mathematics. This part-time position involves working both one-on-one and in small group settings, providing targeted instruction to help students achieve growth toward their individual learning goals. The ideal candidate is patient, organized, and collaborative, with a passion for helping students succeed.
Key Responsibilities
Provide individual and small-group math intervention for students in Grades 1–8.
Pull students out for targeted instruction and push into classrooms to support learning during core instruction.
Collaborate with the Learning Specialist to design and implement lesson plans aligned with student needs and curriculum standards.
Monitor and document student progress toward established goals and adjust instruction as needed.
Communicate effectively with teachers and support staff regarding student growth and learning strategies.
Foster a positive, encouraging learning environment that supports student confidence and engagement in math.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field (required).
Experience working with elementary and/or middle school students in math instruction or tutoring (preferred).
Strong understanding of math concepts and intervention strategies.
Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
Commitment to supporting the mission and values of the school community.
Schedule
Flexible within the school day, totaling 8–12 hours per week.
Schedule to be determined in coordination with the Learning Specialist and classroom teachers.
