Position Description
Performs supervisory and coordinative work in the operation of a specific program or departmental project. Responsibilities involve the coordination and supervision of the various functions and aspects of a specific program as well as the monitoring of program staff and operational procedures. Work is performed under general supervision with evaluation based on results obtained. May supervise program staff, volunteers and student assistants.

Major/Essential Functions
- Performs supervisory and coordinative work in the operation of a specific program or departmental project. Responsibilities involve the coordination and supervision of the various functions and aspects of a specific program as well as the monitoring of program staff and operational procedures. Work is performed under general supervision with evaluation based on results obtained. May supervise program staff, volunteers and student assistants.
- Coordinate and assists with the facilitation of office meetings/programs related to the department on behalf of campus; preparation/distribution of agendas, minutes, logistical setup; catering, audio/visual and notifications, schedules speakers and related travel and payments thereof.
- Maintains the Inter-professional student lounge.
- Assists in identifying topics and programs for regularly scheduled events. Create collaborative programs pertaining to cultural understanding and global societies.
- Assists with the Continuing Professional Education component in the coordination of office events related to the departments' missions.l societies.
- Serves as Initial point of contact for the office, answering incoming calls on the multi-line telephone, communicating messages, and providing answers to inquiries relevant to the departments as needed
- Provides general clerical assistance such as filing, creating and managing correspondence templates, compiling facts/statistics used for cultural events, and managing inventory for the food pantry
- Maintains departmental calendar
- Coordinates, arranges and assists with all travel associated with the office.
- Assists in the creation and development of all office material (e.g. brochures, events, flyers, newsletter, etc.) and introduction/speaker points for events
- Assists in the office newsletter and social media page.
- Personally demonstrate, display and act in accordance with TTUHSC EP's Values (Service, Respect, Accountability, Integrity, Advancement, and Teamwork). Serve as a Value's leader while actively promoting and encouraging staff across the institution
- Adhere to all policies, procedures and practices (Regents Rules, TTUS, HSECEP OPs, etc.)
- Remains current with all licensure, certifications and mandatory compliances and trainings required of this position
- Perform all other duties as assigned
- Adhere to all TTUHSCEP policies, procedures and processes

- Bachelor's degree plus two (2) years related experience; OR a combination of education and/or progressively responsible related experience to equal six (6) years
