The Position: The Residential Trainer designs, delivers, and evaluates training to improve care practices and cross-agency collaboration. This role ensures all training is consistent, relevant, and reinforced across programs.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Bachelor�s degree in social work or related field
- DMH, DCFS, Group Home/STRTP experience required
- Training experience
COMPUTER/OFFICE SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Microsoft Office
- General Office Skills
PHYSICAL SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Must pass pre-employment physical exam, TB, and drug screening
- Ability to commute to various sites
- Ability to lift at least 10 pounds for filing, boxes, and packages
- Ability to sit for several hours performing clerical functions
CLEARANCES REQUIRED:
- DOJ, FBI, Child Abuse Index
- Insurability under Corporate Automobile Insurance
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
- Develop and deliver high-quality, timely training to improve treatment outcomes
- Support collaboration between DCFS, treatment providers, and Law Enforcement
- Provide technical assistance for cases involving repeated law enforcement contact
- Track and report activities to meet grant and program objectives
- Coordinate and evaluate clinical training events
- Perform other related duties as assigned
