Job Description
You will be the Subcontract Management Senior for the Strategic Procurement & Contracts Team. Our team drives cost‑effective, on‑schedule delivery of critical components for commercial, DoD, and international programs by managing high‑risk, COTS‑based and custom‑built subcontracts.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Subcontract Management Senior you will lead multifunctional subcontract teams, own end‑to‑end supplier performance, and act as the trusted authority for procurement delegation. You’ll shape subcontract specifications, negotiate terms, and ensure flawless execution from bid package through sustainment.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Managing supplier cost, schedule, and technical performance on moderate to high risk subcontracts across commercial, DoD, and international programs.
• Leading cross functional subcontract management teams to deliver on time, on budget results.
• Exercising procurement delegation authority to sign supplier agreements and purchase orders within established limits.
• Developing clear subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms & conditions for specialized materials, equipment, and services.
• Preparing comprehensive bid packages, conducting bidders’ conferences, and establishing evaluation criteria.
• Analyzing proposals, negotiating price and contractual provisions, and recommending awardees.
• Drafting subcontract packages, issuing award documents, and administering contracts, including change orders and modifications.
• Maintaining accurate administrative status updates via tracking mechanisms and reporting tools.
• Providing logistical support and handling additional duties to sustain seamless contract operations.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications
• Prior experience with procurement, supply chain and/or subcontracts on US Government programs
• Ability and willingness to travel to supplier facilities to participate in negotiations/meetings and to resolve subcontract/program issues on-site, as needed.
• Ability to interface effectively with all levels of management and suppliers to achieve desired program objectives.
Desired skills
• Demonstrated problem solving skills, business acumen and ability to make business-based decisions
• Experience managing complex subcontracts
• Contract/TINA negotiations experience
• Experience with Cost Plus, Fixed Price and T&M subcontract types
• Ability to operate in and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• P2P, SCNav, SAP Experience
• Control Account Management (CAM) Experience
• Cross-functional knowledge of Supplier Quality and Engineering, as they relate to subcontract management.
• Excellent communications, negotiations, presentation, and documentation skills.
• Ability to create and present using Microsoft Office tools.
• Experience as a materials analyst or analytical background/skills.
