WHAT YOU’LL DO:

This role leads backend Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) development while supporting integrations across the Adobe Experience Platform and external platforms such as Salesforce.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design, build, and deploy new AEM components from requirements through production.

  • Apply AEM best practices for workflows, configurations, caching, and performance tuning.

  • Support AEM best practices for environment stack configuration.

  • Manage deployment pipelines for content updates and feature enhancements.

  • Implement and optimize back-end services in Java, Sling, OSGi, and JCR.

  • Collaborate with internal front-end resources on HTML, JavaScript, and CSS integration.

  • Build and maintain integrations between Adobe Experience Platform applications.

  • Support external system integrations, including Salesforce CRM and Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

  • Manage API-driven connections between AEM components and external services.

  • Maintain and fine-tune dispatcher caching and related performance settings.

  • Monitor and ensure alignment with web standards and best practices for SEO, accessibility, and security.

  • Accountable for AEM troubleshooting, configuration, platform stability, and optimization.

  • Partner with IT, data, and marketing teams to align Adobe Experience Platform with enterprise systems.

  • Provide technical leadership and guidance across the Adobe stack.

  • Contributes to a positive team dynamic through respectful interactions, positive contributions, and active collaboration to achieve department and organizational goals.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • This job does not have supervisory responsibility.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience

  • Min 3+ years of professional development experience, with at least 2 years directly working with AEM

  • Experience integrating AEM with RESTful and GraphQL APIS.

  • Experience writing, parsing, and troubleshooting JSON.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous experience with middleware concepts and enterprise integrations, including Mulesoft

  • Exposure to Salesforce CRM and Marketing Cloud integrations

  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

  • Prefer Adobe Certified Expert: AEM Sites Developer, Assets Developer, and/or Forms Developer

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:

  • Strong proficiency in AEM development, with emphasis on backend engineering, including Java expertise for building and extending AEM components.

  • Strong understanding of source control process and best practices (Git).

  • Familiarity with AEM front-end technologies (HTML, JavaScript, CSS) to collaborate effectively with frontend teams.

  • Knowledge of the Adobe Experience Platform ecosystem: Target, Analytics, RTCDP, Data Collection

  • Understanding of Adobe Cloud Manager and DevOps workflows.

  • Knowledge of dispatcher configuration, caching strategies, and performance tuning.

  • Ability to troubleshoot and optimize AEM and related Adobe tools independently.

  • Strong collaboration skills to work with cross-functional enterprise teams.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong problem-solving skills.

  • Highly effective facilitation and project management skill sets.

  • Experience successfully collaborating professionally and diplomatically with diverse stakeholders.

  • Ability to establish, nurture, and optimize key internal and external partnerships and influence organizational change.

SALARY:

  • Hiring Range: $105,876 - $126,990

  • Full Pay Brand for the Role: $105,876 - $148,206

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

The physical environment is typical of a standard office space. It requires the employee to work inside for the duration of work. Must be able to remain in a stationary position, sitting for more than 50% of the time. This position will require occasionally moving about inside the office to access equipment, cabinets, etc. May work around office equipment which could be noisy, such as copiers and fax machines.
