The Production Coordinator will support day-to-day operations in our manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for closing production work orders, managing and ordering auxiliary and consumable materials, correcting work orders, and auditing the production process within Microsoft Dynamics AX (AX). The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and has a strong understanding of production workflows and ERP systems.
Job Responsibilities
· Close production orders accurately and in a timely manner within the ERP system (AX).
· Order and track auxiliary and consumable materials to support continuous production operations.
· Monitor material usage and stock levels, ensuring availability and avoiding shortages or overstock.
· Re-enter or correct Work Orders (WOs) as needed due to process, data, or entry errors.
· Audit production data and transactions in AX to ensure accuracy and compliance with procedures.
· Identify and help resolve issues in the production tracking process, working with supervisors, operators, and IT/ERP support as needed.
· Collaborate with production, planning, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth order flow and material readiness.
· Support continuous improvement efforts by highlighting process gaps or inefficiencies related to production data entry and reporting.
· Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits and reporting purposes.
· Manager and organize plates and other needs for jobs for the supervisor to be able to run the line efficiently
Requirements
· Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment
· Basic knowledge of ERP systems (preferably Microsoft Dynamics AX or similar)
· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
· Ability to identify and correct errors in data and work processes
· Good communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
· Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
· Familiarity with production processes, work orders, and material handling
