The Director of the TV Department provides vision, strategic leadership, and operational oversight for all television and digital media initiatives at Kenneth Copeland Ministries. This leader will ensure financial stewardship through program-level P&Ls, use data-driven analysis to evaluate broadcast effectiveness, and assemble the creative talent necessary to position KCM for continued growth and global impact. The Director leads and mentors the TV Department team, providing oversight to producers, editors, and support staff while fostering professional growth and alignment with KCM’s mission and values.


PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Financial Accountability & Program-Level P&L

  • Develop and oversee annual TV Department budgets, ensuring program-specific budgets are managed with P&L accountability.
  • Conduct quarterly reviews of each broadcast to evaluate performance against budget, projected revenue, and ministry impact.
  • Partner with Finance to produce accurate forecasting and ensure long-term sustainability of programming.
  • Optimize resource allocation across programs to maximize return on ministry investment.

 Metrics, Analytics & Performance Tracking

  • Establish and oversee systems for measuring broadcast performance, focusing on new names added, donor response, and audience engagement.
  • Collaborate with Data and Donor Development teams to track response metrics, analyze trends, and adjust programming strategies accordingly. 
  • Present regular performance reports to Executive Leadership, providing recommendations for course corrections and future programming.
  • Use analytics to guide strategic decisions about content distribution across TV, streaming, and digital platforms.

Creative Development & Talent Management

  • Identify, recruit, and manage the creative talent needed—through staff and contractors to produce high-quality, relevant, and mission-aligned programming.
  • Ensure the department has the right mix of producers, editors, writers, and contractors to execute current and future projects.
  • Guide the development of new program concepts and formats that reach new audiences and deepen engagement with existing partners.
  • Maintain creative excellence across all programming while adhering to budget constraints.

Strategic Oversight of The Victory Channel

  • Provide leadership and clarity on ownership and direction of The Victory Channel.
  • Shape the future of KCM’s broadcast ministry by developing a digital-first, multichannel strategy.
  • Ensure Victory Channel programming reflects KCM’s mission while adapting to shifting media consumption trends.

Collaboration & Organizational Leadership

  • Partner with the Communications team to align on content strategy, production responsibilities, and campaign integration.
  • Work closely with Executive Leadership to ensure broadcast priorities support the overall ministry vision.
  • Drive collaboration between TV, Communications, and Data teams to create unified strategies for content, audience engagement, and analytics.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and faith-driven purpose within the TV Department.


Requirements

Education: 

  • College degree, in Television Production or related field preferred.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Experience:

  • 10+ years in senior-level media/TV leadership with proven program-level budget and P&L responsibility.
  • Strong track record in using response data, audience metrics, and performance analysis to shape programming decisions.
  • Ability to forecast, manage, and adjust budgets at both departmental and program-specific levels.
  • Experience in television broadcasting, digital platforms, and multichannel distribution.
  • Ability to recognize strong creative ideas and build teams (staff or contractors) to bring them to life.
  • Demonstrated success in cross-departmental leadership, particularly with Communications, Donor Development, and Executive teams.


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Directly supervises TV Department staff, including producers, editors, coordinators, and administrative roles.
  • Oversees hiring, training, performance evaluations, and professional development of team members.
  • Provides mentorship, establishes clear goals and expectations, and ensures alignment with ministry values.
  • Manage contractor relationships and ensures quality and accountability in outsourced projects.


EQUIPMENT TO BE USED:

  • Professional broadcast and video production equipment, including cameras, switchers, lighting, and audio consoles.
  • Editing and post-production systems such as Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Audition).
  • Television automation, playout, and scheduling systems (e.g., ProPresenter, vMix, or equivalent).
  • Content management and digital distribution platforms (e.g., OTT, streaming, YouTube Studio, social media dashboards).
  • Data and analytics tools for performance tracking (e.g., Google Analytics, donor engagement dashboards).
  • Standard office equipment and software including Microsoft 365, Teams, and other project management platforms


TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Ability to give, receive and analyze information, formulate work plans, prepare written materials and articulate goals and action plans.
  • Must be very organized and require a limited amount of instruction.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Works in a normal office environment and is available outside normal working hours to meet job requirements. 
  • Some travel to KCM events or key donor events may be required. 


Other:

  • Born again believer and must adhere to this organization's doctrines as upheld by Kenneth and Gloria Copeland and their appointed representatives.
  • Must work well with others, as a team and according to Romans 16:17, must not cause dissension, difficulties and divisions
  • Must maintain a good attendance record
  • Because of the wide range of personal contact with ministry leaders within and outside the organization, this position requires considerable diplomacy, maturity, and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work with people of all cultures
