IT Manufacturing Specialist (Gastonia, US, 28052) chez MANN+HUMMEL

Main Tasks

− Maintain and operate IT services in production environments.
− Ensure availability and performance of shop floor IT systems.
− Manage IT hardware (RF scanners, printers, thin clients, firewalls, APEX lockers).
− Support digital transformation initiatives in collaboration with the Digitalization Manager and OT Expert.
− Oversee local software licensing, IT security, and compliance.
− Act as a liaison between IT and Operations to align goals and processes.
− Implement standardized IT solutions and best practices in coordination with Central IT.

Educational Requirement

− Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, or a related field with 3+ years of experience. 
− Associates Degree in Information Technology, or related field with 5+ years of experience. 

Experience Requirements

− Manufacturing experience would be a plus. 
− Experience in IT service maintenance and security.
− Experience in IT systems administration 

Skills Requirements

− Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, hardware, and software lifecycle management.
− Familiarity with digitalization initiatives and IT governance frameworks.
− Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
− Strong communication skills and the ability to act as a bridge between technical and operational teams.
− Up to 20% Local Travel

Preferred

− SAP experience - MES System 
− Cisco devices familiarity 
− Familiar with manufacturing or production environment
− Familiar with Operations
