The Role & Team
We have a 12-month fixed term opportunity for a Web Administrator to join our well renowned Marketing team at Specsavers. Reporting into the Senior Digital Experience Manager, this role will see you maintaining and monitoring the day-to-day activities on the Specsavers websites as well as being the first point of contact for our store partners and other internal teams on any website related queries.
Your eagerness to learn in a hands-on environment will see you trouble shooting and problem solving and working independently to implement solutions in a fast-paced environment.
The skills we are looking for:
- A good technical understanding of front-end website design and web development languages (HTML, CSS & JavaScript) (essential)
- Using CMS and e-commerce platforms is essential to this role, particularly Contentful, Drupal, Commercetools, and Algolia.
- A solid understanding of what makes a great user experience and how to apply UX/UI principles to web page design.
- You will demonstrate initiative and can complete tasks proactively without direction.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment
