Location: Mississauga, ON

Pay & Schedule: $19.30/hour | Full-Time, Monday to Friday

About the Role:

Join Paladin Security’s Airport Operations Team as an Airport Security Traffic Officer at Toronto Pearson International Airport. You’ll play a vital role in maintaining safety and order in one of Canada’s busiest travel hubs by directing vehicle and pedestrian flow and ensuring compliance with airport regulations. This is a hands-on, outdoor role ideal for dependable professionals who excel in fast-paced environments and enjoy working independently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide break relief to staff across designated airport terminals.
• Direct and control vehicular and pedestrian traffic in groundside areas to ensure safe, efficient flow.
• Maintain clear, organized traffic lanes for both public and commercial vehicles.
• Conduct regular patrols to manage congestion and enforce safety standards.
• Provide the public with courteous and accurate information regarding parking, stopping, and loading/unloading areas.
• Ensure crosswalks and vehicle lanes remain clear and hazard-free.
• Report or assist with any incidents impacting safety or traffic operations.

Requirements

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Valid Ontario Security Guard License.
• Valid First Aid & CPR – Level C (from a WSIB-approved vendor).
• English fluency (oral and written).
• Certifications in Use of Force (UOF) and Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB), or willingness to complete Paladin’s onboarding certification program.
• Legally authorized to work in Canada.
• Ability to commit for at least 6 months.
• Comfortable working outdoors and independently in all weather conditions.

Nice to Have:

• Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field.
