About You
To be successful you will have had previous experience in an Operational HR environment, preferably with a strong Employee Relations background as well as have tertiary qualifications in Human Resources. You will have a passion for tourism and have experience with managing the fast-paced day-to-day HR operations of the business.
You will pride yourself on your organisational skills and your ability to switch priorities. You will possess a high level of energy, self-motivation, initiative, flexibility, and attention to detail to be successful in meeting the business demands.

- Strong people focused leadership, lead with both head and heart, with highly developed people management skills
- Sound judgment, discretion and ability to build trust within the organisation

- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, complemented by strong organisational abilities that allow you to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines consistently.

About The Role
We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to support our team; this HR leadership role will work across all aspects of operational HR, demonstrating visible leadership within the operation. You will be responsible for providing exceptional HR guidance and technical advice, whilst cultivating a strong employment culture in alignment to our values.
As the HR Business Partner, you will drive recruitment, onboarding and training, employee engagement, compliance and performance management systems and have accountability for delivering key projects that meet established HR KPI’s.
You will be supported by a HR Advisor and form part of a broader HR Operations team across Journey Beyond.
Key responsibilities include:
- Provide day-to-day HR advice and support to employees throughout the employment lifecycle.
- Work with leaders and managing the day-to-day HR operations
- Establish and nurture open, collaborative relationships with management, employees, and stakeholders.
- Support the identification and delivery of actions in response to employee engagement surveys.
- Collaboration and delivery of key projects for the benefit of our people
- Partnering with talent acquisition for recruitment needs
- Coaching and mentoring people leaders and stakeholder support
- Employee relations, performance management, and learning and development
- Respond efficiently to the critical everyday needs of the business.
