About the Job:

Working hybrid from our Hyderabad office, this person will act as Scrum Master for two to three teams. Will promote Agile best practices and work across multiple stakeholders to identify and remove impediments. We need a Scrum Master with a strong vision for creating the best workplace possible. The ideal candidate will be passionate about getting the best out of individuals and teams through the power of self-organization.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as subject matter expert on Agile development methods and processes
• Enable the Scrum teams to perform at the highest level by instilling Scrum values, coaching the team, removing impediments and protecting the team from disruption
• Organize and facilitate team backlog management, daily stand-up meetings, reviews, retrospectives, demos and other Scrum-related rituals
• Assist Product Owner as needed with backlog maintenance, internal and external communication, improving transparency, and disseminating information
• Share Agile knowledge and best practices across the organization to maximize Scrum team performance and effectiveness
• Coach teams, individuals and the organization in collaboration, transparency, iteration and being customer focused
• Creates high performing, self organized teams that can’t wait to work together
• Challenges assumptions about how we work together and how we develop our product and collaborate with us to find a better way
• Builds consensus through collaboration and has the ability to influence without authority

Skills Required:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Business or Project Management
• 8+ years of experience as an agile scrum master, product owner or agile coach
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
• Demonstrable proficiency in Agile methods, including Scrum, Kanban
• Experience with mentoring junior employees in Scrum methodology
• Experienced facilitator able to apply various techniques to ensure effective meetings both co-located and distributed for 5 scrum teams
• Strong leadership skills and a history of leading through influence
• Ability to work with diverse personality types
• Collaborative approach to decision-making on teams
• Proven ability to manage multiple competing priorities and organize work effectively in a fast-paced environment with high task volume while supporting multiple teams
• Ability to work under limited supervision

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with Atlassian tools, including JIRA and Confluence
• Certified Scrum Coach (CSC), PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), Certified Scrum Trainer (CST)
• Experience in a variety of Software Development Life Cycles (waterfall, iterative and agile)
