Job Description

What is the opportunity?

The Sr. Manager, Performance Management is responsible for leading the development and implementation of business and people analytics strategies to drive informed decision-making and optimize organizational performance. This role will oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of analytics frameworks, metrics, and reporting to measure business outcomes, identify areas for improvement, and track progress towards strategic objectives.

What will you do?

Business Analytics:

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of business operations, including key performance indicators (KPIs), metrics, and benchmarks.
  • Design and implement analytics frameworks to measure business outcomes, such as revenue growth, customer acquisition, and retention.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize business questions and develop targeted analytics solutions to address them.

People Analytics:

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of people-related metrics, including talent acquisition, development, engagement, and retention.
  • Design and implement analytics frameworks to measure the impact of people-related initiatives on business outcomes.
  • Collaborate with HR and other stakeholders to identify and prioritize people-related questions and develop targeted analytics solutions to address them.

Performance Management:

  • Develop and maintain a performance management framework that aligns with organizational strategic objectives.
  • Design and implement metrics, benchmarks, and reporting to measure progress towards strategic objectives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and develop targeted interventions to address them.

Data Management and Governance:

  • Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of analytics data, and maintain data governance standards.
  • Collaborate with IT and other stakeholders to design and implement data management solutions that support analytics requirements.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders, including senior leaders, managers, and team members.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement analytics solutions that meet business needs.

Team Management:

  • Lead and manage a team of analysts, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to ensure the team has the necessary skills and expertise to deliver high-quality analytics solutions.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, experimentation, and continuous learning within the team.

What do you need to succeed?

Must haves:

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, such as mathematics, statistics, economics, or computer science.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in business analytics, performance management, or a related field.
  • Expert-level knowledge of:
    • Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, data modeling, and data visualization.
    • Tableau, including data connection, visualization, and dashboard creation.
    • Other analytics technologies, such as Power BI, Google Analytics, or statistical programming languages (e.g., R, Python).
  • Strong understanding of data management principles, including data governance, data quality, and data security.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
