Overview of Role: 
The Intermediate Analyst is a technical resource supporting key Microsoft Platforms technology and processes. This role administers, improves, troubleshoots, and resolves incidents across the Microsoft ecosystem—including Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Entra ID, and Power Platform. The analyst maintains system stability, leads Change/Incident/Release management, and actively participates in scrum methodology, planning, and delivery.  The role requires context switching across diverse tasks, confident engagement with leadership stakeholders, and building strong partnerships with IT and business teams. 

 

Key Deliverables / Responsibilities: 

  • Administration and support of Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Entra ID, Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps), and related technologies 

  • Advanced use of PowerShell, Graph API, and other APIs for automation and integration 

  • Engagement with code repositories and version control using git 

  • Delivery of prioritized sprint and queue work items within timelines 

  • Leadership in Change, Incident, and Problem management tasks 

  • Deep understanding of architecture and troubleshooting across Microsoft platforms 

  • Ticket management and documentation of resolutions and improvements 

  • Contribution to knowledge management, support runbooks, and operational transition processes 

  • Enhancement of security posture within supported technology stack 

  • Participation in audits and on-call rotation as required 

  • Building effective partnerships with IT and business stakeholders 

 

Experience and Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or related education, or combination of education and experience 

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Entra ID, Power Platform, and related technologies 

  • Proficiency in PowerShell, Graph API, and working with APIs 

  • General networking and server environment management considered a valuable asset 

  • Experience with git and code repositories 

  • Excellent time management and multitasking skills 

  • Strong incident and problem management capabilities 

  • Willingness to learn new technologies and business processes 

  • Ability to determine root cause from outcomes 

  • Experience with DevOps, Agile, Scrum, or Kanban methodologies is an asset 

  • Proven ability to context-switch and manage competing priorities 

  • Confident communicator with key leadership stakeholders 

  • Demonstrated ability to build partnerships across IT and business functions
