Job Summary:
This individual will be employed full-time in a supervisor role for the Company and will be responsible for the daily operations of the Location. The Wholesale Supervisor will be a working/hands on supervisor and serve as backup to other staff in the Location. Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Bachelor’s degree in business, management or related field is preferred and/or at least 4 years work experience in pharmacy or distribution.
- Must currently possess certification as a prescription drug Designated Representative in the states of Florida and California or meets criteria to qualify and agrees to take within 90 days of hire the required course work and tests to obtain the certification.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Have been employed for at least 6,000 hours within the two years prior to hire with a pharmacy or a wholesaler/3PL in a capacity dispensing, distributing or handling and storing prescription drugs.
- Have managerial experience where the responsibilities included, but were not limited to decision-making authority, developing, and implementing policies and procedures relating to the purchasing, sales and inventory management of prescription drugs,
- Have working knowledge of drug serialization requirements and regulations.
- Meet the requirements of any state for which the Company has or intends to have a non-resident drug wholesaler or 3PL permit, inclusive of passing a background check.
- Be knowledgeable of and have a detailed understanding of laws and regulations relating to operation of a 3PL and the wholesale distribution of prescription drugs.
- Be physically present and available during the facility’s regular business hours, except for time periods when the absence of the representative is authorized, excluding sick leave, vacation leave and other authorized absences.
- Be involved in and aware of the actual daily operations of the Location.
- Must not have been enjoined, disciplined, fined, punished, or the like for violating any federal or state laws or regulations regulating prescription drugs or devices and must not have been found guilty, pled guilty, or pled nolo contendere to any criminal offense.
- Is able to and passes the background checks and credentialing requirements and otherwise meets the requirements of all applicable accrediting bodies and/or state licensing authorities in each state in which Anovo holds or intends to hold a license for conduct of a prescription drug wholesale and/or 3PL business.
- Not found to have omitted material information of furnished false or fraudulent information in connection with an application made for licensure involving prescription drugs.
- Has not impeded an inspection of a licensed 3Pl or prescription drug wholesaler by a federal or state licensing authority.
- Has not been subject to license suspension or revocation by any federal, state or local government for any license currently or previously held for the manufacturer or distribution of drugs.
- Serve in designated representative capacity for only one wholesaler at a time.
- Have a basic understanding of quality control systems and prescription drug terminology, abbreviations, and dosage.
- Strong computer skills with expertise in Microsoft Office Suite (primarily Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) and able to use databases.
