OVERVIEW: Responsible for maintenance of the company’s multi-site IT infrastructure, including servers, networking components, workstations, and helpdesk support. Applicants must be self-motivated with a desire to drive improvements and efficiencies into the existing IT environment.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Shared responsibility for availability and stability of all server and network infrastructure
  • Deploy new hardware and software on servers and workstations
  • Test, update, and migrate data for various upgrade projects
  • Suggest and implement IT-related process improvements and security enhancements
  • Manage updates to servers, workstations, and IT managed equipment (cameras, network, etc.)
  • Manage system backups and environmental changes, including online services
  • Assist in the support of audio and video presentation equipment for all branches
  • Provide end user support for hardware and software issues
  • Provide phone support to company employees as needed
  • Administration of Windows Server (AD-DS, DNS, IIS, DFS)
  • Administration of Microsoft 365 and other cloud services
  • PC setup and testing, including automation setup and maintenance

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of 2-year degree from a Computer Tech College or job-related equivalent experience
  • 10+ years direct experience preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows Server, including server roles and common 3rd party software
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 management (AD Sync, Intune, SharePoint, Defender)
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 administration (licensing, user setup, MFA)
  • Working knowledge of Cisco/Fortinet/Extreme networking equipment including switches, gateways, access points, and security services
  • Strong base understanding of core computer networking, including standard protocols, VPNs, and routing
  • Microsoft SQL management, Microsoft SharePoint experience a plus
  • Must have a positive mental attitude
  • Cooperate with colleagues of other departments
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Self-motivated, goal oriented, energetic, friendly and outgoing
  • Good organizational skills and very detail-oriented
  • Willing to travel to all branch locations, including Canada
  • Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record

  • Requires sitting, standing with periodic lifting, walking, standing, bending, stooping, and stretching.
