Duties/Responsibilities:
- Develop and nurture relationships with clients and Buying Assistants.
- Assist the sales team in preparing for meetings and creating presentation materials, such as decks and reports.
- Manage order processing by accurately preparing and entering sales orders.
- Conduct market research and assist with competitor analysis as necessary.
- Respond to customer inquiries in a timely manner.
- Coordinate market planning and logistics, including appointment scheduling and showroom setup.
- Track and manage samples, ensuring efficient inbound and outbound processes.
- Maintain the showroom for seasonal markets, ensuring samples are organized and displayed effectively.
Requirements
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Able to build and maintain relationships with clients and team members.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; experience with sales software is beneficial.
- Basic understanding of retail math and sales reporting.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Team-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Good listening skills and a willingness to learn from experiences.

- The offered salary for this position will vary based on role requirements determined by NYC Alliance, skill set and years of experience.
