How you will create an impact: 
  • Design and develop scalable data architectures for integrating our tailored and standard software solutions into our clients’ environments, collaborating with professional services, software engineering and cloud operations.
  • Implement data pipelines, data ingestion and data processing solutions reading different data sources with varying data quality.
  • Conduct data discovery projects to ensure the feasibility of our suggested solutions and enable later integration into existing infrastructures.
  • Develop standardized components for data handling / ETL enabling efficient integration of our software products.
  • Consider non-functional aspects of data pipeline development, such as quality assurance, handling of sensitive data, monitoring and more.
About you: 
  • You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree (business, computer science or a related field) and ideally professional experience in data engineering or Tech Consulting.
  • You have experience with the setup and maintenance of solid ETL solutions in production, you know how to build and orchestrate data pipelines (e.g., Airflow, dbt, Databricks).
  • You have worked with data integrations in large-scale enterprise environments.
  • You have experience with at least one of the following technologies: PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Snowflake and other sql/nosql database solutions.
  • You are familiar with streaming services such as Kafka / Kinesis and ETL solutions such as AWS Glue, Alteryx, Mage or similar.
  • You have experience working with cloud technologies, preferably in the AWS stack and know your way around developing and deploying cloud infrastructure and services (e.g., with AWS CDK or Terraform)
  • You are proficient with CI/CD (e.g., Gitlab), monitoring (e.g., Cloudwatch, Grafana) and alerting
  • You have deep knowledge and experience programming with Python, other programming languages such as Java, Scala, Go, and Rust are a plus.
  • You are fluent in English (German is a plus).
  • You have strong interpersonal and communication skills and proactively, reliably, and enthusiastically work with clients, consultants, software engineers, and product experts.
