Description
7G Environmental Compliance Management, LLC is seeking a highly motivated and adaptable Operations Generalist to join our operations team in a foundational role. This position offers broad exposure to our diverse operational specializations. The primary responsibilities will include assisting in routing and logistics, with a secondary focus on the meticulous review of inspection reports to ensure adherence to 7G’s stringent quality control standards. This role is designed for a detail-oriented individual with strong data management skills who is eager to learn, grow, and become a versatile contributor across our operational landscape. This is a full-time position with a standard Monday-Friday schedule, but a monthly weekend rotation may be required for schedule overlap.
Key Responsibilities
- Routing & Logistics Support (Primary Duty):
- Gain exposure to and provide general support for logistics and routing tasks.
- Assist in maintaining and implementing efficient daily and weekly inspection routes for a fleet of 90+ service trucks.
- Support logistics coordination, including scheduling, dispatching, and making real-time adjustments to routes.
- Utilize data from vehicle tracking devices and two-way cameras to support route performance analysis.
- Quality Control & Inspection Report Review (Secondary Duty):
- Conduct thorough and meticulous review of environmental compliance inspection reports from field teams.
- Identify discrepancies, errors, omissions, and non-compliance with established quality control standards and regulatory requirements.
- Provide clear, constructive feedback to inspectors for report revisions and improvements.
- Track and document all disapproved reports, noting reasons for non-compliance.
- Data Management & Operational Support:
- Perform meticulous data entry and maintain accurate records related to quality control findings, inspection results, and general operational support tasks.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives through data collection and documentation.
- Utilize and become proficient with company routing software, telematics platforms, and other work management platforms.
- Work closely with field managers and the broader operations team to support logistical needs.
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred, but not required.
- 0-2 years of experience in an administrative, operational support, or quality control role; recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Highly skilled in data management, with strong attention to detail and a meticulous approach to reviewing documentation.
- Expert proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and iOS devices.
- Familiarity with CRM or work management platforms is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and eager to learn.
- Ability to work independently on assigned tasks and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
