Job Description
The Data & Insight Senior Principal will serve as a technical leader, leveraging advanced expertise in tools such as Power BI and ThoughtSpot to drive data-driven decision-making across global teams. This role will focus on providing technical guidance, solving complex analytical challenges, and promoting the adoption of innovative data visualization techniques. As a subject matter expert, the Senior Principal will ensure the delivery of high-impact analytical insights while collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve processes and align technical solutions with business objectives. The emphasis will be on technical execution, thought leadership in analytics, and ensuring seamless integration of data tools into workflows.Key Responsibilities May Include:
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of professionals, providing clear direction and fostering their growth while ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Manage the full analytical lifecycle, from scoping and data collection to analysis, modelling, and reporting, ensuring projects are delivered on time and meet key milestones.
- Partner with key stakeholders to align data solutions with business objectives, supporting both tactical decision-making and long-term strategic initiatives.
- Apply advanced analytics techniques to extract actionable insights from both structured and unstructured data, identifying trends, patterns, and key business drivers.
- Develop innovative metrics, reports, and visualizations that translate complex data into meaningful insights to inform strategic decision-making.
- Synthesize and present analytical findings in clear, visually compelling reports and dashboards, making complex data accessible to business stakeholders.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency by implementing rigorous quality control processes across all analytics and reporting activities.
- Champion the use of standardized KPIs and educate end users on best practices to maintain a cohesive reporting and analytics framework, ensuring alignment with data privacy frameworks
Experience
- Extensive technical experience with Power BI and ThoughtSpot.
- Strong technical expertise in data modelling, visualization, and analytics.
- Proven ability to lead and mentor technical teams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Setting team objectives aligned with organizational goals.

- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
Skills and Knowledge
- Advanced SQL for complex querying and data manipulation.
- Statistical analysis and hypothesis testing.
- Data cleaning, transformation, and validation techniques.
- Experience with large-scale datasets and distributed computing.
- Tooling & technologies: Power BI, ThoughtSpot, Databricks.
- Python or R for data analysis and modeling .
- Version control (Git).
- Basic understanding of software development practices.
- Familiarity with API integration and data pipelines.
- Automation of reporting and analysis.
- Business intelligence frameworks.
- Data governance principles.
- Data quality assessment frameworks.
- Managing end-to-end analytical projects.
- Establishing project timelines and deliverables.
- Fluency in English.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Statistics or equivalent Technical Degrees.
- Agile (SCRUM) Certification , Development Coach Certification (desirable).
