The Investment Office (INV) is responsible for the investment and management of the Staff Retirement Plan (SRP) and Retired Staff Benefits Investment Account (RSBIA). SRP ($15 billion) and RSBIA ($4 billion) are currently structured as globally diversified portfolio across 7 asset classes (Global Equities, Emerging Market Equities, High Income, Real Assets, Enhanced Cash/Absolute Return, Alternative Investments, and Global Fixed Income).
Under the supervision of the Head of Investment Office or designated officer, the Investment Operations Analyst / Senior Investment Operations Analyst will assist in the SRP and RSBIA operations management, investments execution, operational due-diligence and compliance. The successful candidate will be expected to execute certain tasks independently, apply sound judgment, engage collaboratively with diverse teams and external parties, and maintain discretion in handling sensitive information.
Main duties and responsibilities:
Maintain an electronic contract repository system including contracts, amendments, and other documentation.
Handle records and dissemination of Investment Management Fee schedules to INV Quantitative Investment & Risk Analysis (QIRA) and IMF SRP/RSBIA Accountant.
Coordinate investment accounts’ compliance alert set-up with the Custodian’s Compliance Team, including providing necessary documentation.
Assist with monitoring of and reporting on cash flows into and out of the SRP and RSBIA accounts.
Assist with the monthly reporting of cash transactions to the Investment Committee Chair, including ensuring completeness and correctness of information.
Disseminate transaction instructions and documents to the IMF SRP/RSBIA Accountant.
Respond to investment managers’ and custodian’s requests regarding annual and ad-hoc due diligence (e.g. AML/KYC, FATCA, Tax Forms, etc.) and other documentation and information requests.
Assists with preparation of monthly Operational Control and Compliance Reports to the Investment Committee.
Support the periodic investment managers’ formal review process, including preparation of schedules for marketable and private investments reviews and ensuring timely completion.
Assist with maintenance of the investment manager database, ensuring information completeness.
Assist with managing the Annual Investment Manager Compliance Review process.
Assist with collection of data and information from investment managers and administrators (investment performance, Environmental, Social, Governance (ESG); limited partnership management fees and carried interest; and other).
Assist with the annual external audit of the SRP and RSBIA.
Assist with the monitoring and periodic reviews of the Custodian’s Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Monitor and ensure compliance with INV procedures and guidelines.
Assist the Investment Office with ad-hoc projects and tasks as required. For example, by contributing to requirements gathering and conducting testing to support routine technology upgrades and enhancement initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications
The candidate must have a bachelor's degree or equivalent, in Business Administration, Accounting,
Finance, or a related field (or a minimum of two years of experience at Grade A05).

Excellent knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, MS Teams, Zoom and the major IMF IT applications.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of the Fund’s administrative policies and procedures.
Strong familiarity with investment operations.
Experience in testing IT systems.
