Career Opportunities: Manufacturing Engineer Hand tools and tooling Pilatus Ibérica (2632)
Your Tasks
- Lead the design, development and industrialization of tools and manufacturing processes, ensuring ergonomics, safety, repeatability and maintainability in all tooling and equipment
- Coordinate with Design, Production, Quality and Supply Chain Engineering to ensure manufacturability and scalability, ensuring the availability and readiness of the necessary tools for production
- Manage inventory, calibrations, repairs and consumables and maintain full lifecycle traceability of tooling and hand tools
- Ensure compliance with UNE-EN 9100, NADCAP and internal quality regulations, drafting (where appropriate) and maintaining technical documentation: tooling requirements, process specifications, work instructions and training guides
- Lead root cause analysis and continuous improvement projects oriented to costs, deadlines and efficiency, applying Lean Manufacturing principles to reduce non-conformities and optimize the use of tools
- Participate in internal audits, KPI analysis and lessons learned processes, supporting other areas of Manufacturing Engineering in strategic projects or peak loads
With this you convince us
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Aerospace Engineering
- 6+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, tooling design, or process development within aerospace, automotive, or heavy industry
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., CATIA, NX, SolidWorks, or equivalent)
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes: machining, welding, composites, assembly, and additive manufacturing
- Hands-on experience with tooling development, fixture design, or automated assembly solutions
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with ability to work in a fast-paced and evolving production environment
