Job Description: Reporting to the Primary Health Care Manager, the Physical Therapist is a member of a regional team, who works independently for major portions of time with minimal supervision. The incumbent is a member of a professional health discipline whose education and knowledge qualify him/her to make decisions and accept responsibility for clinical physical therapy client care (evaluation - or assessment, intervention, education, consultation). The Physical Therapist is accountable for all aspects of the physical therapy care they provide to clients, ensuring that service is consistent with the Mission Statement, philosophy, goals and objectives of the SHA. The incumbent participates in an interdisciplinary team approach that ensures practice standards are compliant with standards established by the Saskatchewan College of Physical Therapists. "Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement"
