About the Department
The Clark County Finance Department is seeking qualified candidates to join our team as an Enterprise Systems Analyst I/II within the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Office. Clark County is a dynamic, vibrant community with operations supporting Judicial, Public Safety, Public Works, Health, Welfare, Culture & Recreation and other functions for our citizens and visitors. This recruitment may be used to fill multiple positions in the department for our Security and Data Analytics Teams.
Security Unit: Enterprise Systems Analyst I/II assigned to the Security Team will be responsible for the analysis, implementation, and support of Business Owners’ requirements for securing SAP and other supported applications. Currently, Clark County SAP Production functionality includes client based financial, accounting, payroll, human resources, and customer relationship management applications. The County SAP Systems Landscape includes multiple systems including an Enterprise Central Component (ECC) System, a Business Warehouse (BW) Reporting System, Process Integration (PI), Solution Manager, SAP Customer Relationship Management (CRM) System, and Kronos for Timekeeping.
Data Analytics Unit: Enterprise Systems Analyst I/II assigned to the Data Analytics Team will be responsible for the gathering of user reporting requirements, working on systems analysis, developing reporting visualization solutions, monitoring data quality, and providing insights to decision makers in support of Clark County's enterprise data analytics efforts. This position will also enable growth in their Data Analytics and professional skills while working alongside the ERP and various Clark County teams.
Enterprise Systems Analyst I: $32.77- $48.43 Hourly
Enterprise Systems Analyst II: $35.38- $52.32 Hourly
The Enterprise Systems Analyst I is a training underfill position, upon successful completion of the training program the successful candidate will be non-competitively promoted to Enterprise Systems Analyst II.
This examination will establish an Open Competitive Eligibility list to fill current and/or future vacancies that may occur within the next six (6) months at either level or may be extended as needed by Human Resources.

Position Duties
Education and Experience:
Enterprise Systems Analyst I - Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, Finance or a related field. Full-time experience in financial systems or other directly related activity that has provided the skills and knowledge to perform all necessary job functions at this level may be substituted for the degree on a year-for-year basis to a maximum of two (2) years.
Enterprise Systems Analyst II - In addition to the above: Two (2) years of full-time professional experience in providing customer service and/or system support of financial and business applications.

Background Investigation: Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background investigation. Periodically after employment background investigations may be conducted.

Minimum Qualifications
- Performs a variety of professional level customer support activities which may vary with the specialty area to which assigned, but which all relate to the support of accounting, payroll and related financial systems for all County departments and a variety of local governmental agencies.
- Provides customer support and resolves systems issues through the financial systems "help desk" function which provides County departments and a variety of other governmental agencies with direct assistance in resolving their system issues.
- Administers accounting and payroll system security, maintains system tables, documents and analyzes departmental and local governmental agency system requirements; and develops, maintains and distributes user documentation and trains staff in accounting and payroll systems usage.
- Interacts with all levels of customers, clerk to senior management and elected officials, in documenting accounting and payroll issues or developing functional specifications, which include screen and report layouts.
- Performs accounting and payroll system acceptance testing; writes, executes and analyzes test script results to ensure system integrity; performs quality assurance of accounting and payroll system user documentation.
- Coordinates and participates in a variety of financial and related analytical studies; conducts complex analyses that relate to the accounting and payroll systems, working in concert with centralized information systems staff.
- Prepares a variety of reports, flowcharts, diagrams, documentation and other written materials; compiles a variety of financial information for use by County or other governmental staff or the public.
- Contributes to the efficiency and effectiveness of the unit's service to its customers by offering suggestions and directing or participating as an active member of a work team.
- Uses standard office equipment, including a computer, in the course of the work.
- May drive a personal or County motor vehicle to visit work sites and attend meetings.
