Position Overview
The Technical Project Coordinator, within the Complete Vehicle department at Porsche Engineering, is responsible for Complete Vehicle Validation and Assurance in the metropolitan area of California on public roads, according to Porsche’s proprietary testing systems and methodologies. The vehicles descend from Porsche’s development process and reflect the current quality and development levels of the corresponding model ranges. As the vehicles mature, it is necessary to update the vehicles, especially with regards to the software and hardware, to ensure that any findings and/or complaints occurred are arising from the latest, released versions and are thus relevant. The main task is to coordinate and manage the Complete Vehicle activities including the corresponding communication, prioritization, assessments and reporting of the project-related activities. This also includes documentation, preparation and communication of performance records, KPIs, statistics, project- and budget-related calculations and analysis results.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Support of Complete Vehicle’s Management in ensuring the budget-, result- and resource-oriented practicability for the market-specific activities
- Monitor vehicle and product quality by analyzing development maturity level based on various sensors, including repetitive failures/findings reported by market-specific drivers, the Engineering teams worldwide and other sources of Quality and Engineering topics and complaints
- Collaborate with PAG and PEG Departments responsible for Complete Vehicle Quality and Engineering to facilitate and expedite countermeasure development and validation
- Coordinate various projects and its related teams and vehicle fleets for Complete Vehicle
- Implement and support to achieve processes being established and designed are robust and comply with corporate regulations
- Collaboration with Stakeholders of PAG and PEG worldwide to strengthen synergetic, interdisciplinary and intercultural approaches and cooperation
- Operational coordination and performance of resource management in an interfacing function to the cross-departmental stakeholders at PAG and PEG
- Creation of department and project relevant documents, reports, error analyses, statistics and its process documentation
- Provide guidance and direction for technical personnel at Complete Vehicle – Engineering
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Required qualifications include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Automotive, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Three+ years of Automotive Industry experience in a Coordination or related role
- Additional graduate studies in fields of Engineering can be used toward experience requirements
- Expert knowledge of Complete Vehicle Systems and Automotive Technologies
- Excellent and confident proficiency in managing and coordinating measures in interdisciplinary and cross-functional environments
- Advanced analytical skills and strong communication skills with ability to present complex subject matter to a wide range of audiences
- Experience in Project Management (resource- and budget-oriented sense of responsibility)
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
- Fluent German speaking
Preferred qualifications include:
- Expert knowledge with associated diagnostic tools to analyze problems in vehicles
- Experience with Porsche’s proprietary testing systems and methodologies is a plus, such as PIDT, PUDiS, PPN, FAZIT, Cluu, etc.
- Confident to work in an intercultural and interdisciplinary environment
- Ideal candidates are tenacious, persistent, well-organized, flexible to adapt to various forms of challenges, process oriented and work well within a group
Percentage of required travel: 10 %

The salary range for this role is $115,000-$140,000 per year. However, it is important to note that at Porsche compensation range is dependent on geographic location. Individual salaries within each range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge and skillset.
Porsche reviews compensation regularly and may adjust base salaries to reflect market competitiveness.
