Leasing Specialist – Falls Court & Jefferson House (Baltimore, MD)
WPM is seeking a friendly, energetic, and customer-focused individual with sales and customer service experience to join our leasing team at Falls Court and Jefferson House in Baltimore City. As a Leasing Specialist, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming community by assisting prospective residents, addressing resident needs, organizing events, and providing exceptional service. This position is ideal for candidates with experience in customer service, sales, or marketing. Prior leasing and Entrata experience is preferred.
Position Details:
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (with occasional evenings and weekends)
Compensation: $18/hour+ commission and bonus opportunities

Key Responsibilities:
Track and record all phone and walk-in traffic daily; prepare weekly traffic reports
Assist applicants with the leasing process, including application review and document collection
Maintain and distribute marketing materials
Manage and update the daily vacancy report, ensuring all checklist items are completed for move-ins
Ensure vacant apartments are move-in ready, performing minor cleaning of fixtures, floors, and windows as needed
Promote resident retention by executing tasks outlined in the Resident Retention Plan, assisting with resident events, and fostering community engagement
Conduct quarterly competitor property visits to stay informed of market trends and specials
Support management in fostering positive relationships with residents and overseeing daily property operations
Assist with scheduling tours, coordinating maintenance requests, and providing general building information to prospects, residents, and vendors
Organize and participate in resident outreach and marketing events
Provide administrative support, including preparing forms, spreadsheets, and informational materials
Process and maintain correspondence with residents, contractors, and third parties
Manage and update insurance certificate files for all residents
Maintain electronic and hard-copy filing systems for resident records, invoices, purchase orders, and vendor documentation
Provide phone coverage and general administrative support to maintain efficient property operations
Perform other duties as assigned
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Professional demeanor, appearance, and communication skills
Proficiency in using a PC and ability to learn new software
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work flexible hours based on business needs, including occasional evenings
Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for travel between locations
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
Commitment to excellence and providing outstanding customer service
Education & Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Prior leasing and/or sales experience preferred
