Summary: Oversees all aspects of marketing strategy, execution and operations for a healthcare technology company in the workers’ compensation industry. This includes leading a high-performing team, managing budgets, optimizing media campaigns, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of strategic thinking, creative vision, and tactical operational excellence to elevate Healthesystems’ brand and market presence. - Collaborates with Marketing leadership to develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that align with company goals and drive business growth; checks and adjusts strategies based on results and market factors.
- Leads the creation, execution and optimization of integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social and traditional channels.
- Mentors and guides marketing team members and direct reports, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation and accountability.
- Conducts market research to identify trends, target audiences, segmentation and competitive insights; collaborates with Digital Media Strategist and other relevant resources to analyze campaign performance data to inform strategy and improve outcomes.
- Manage key marketing projects from concept through execution, ensuring timely delivery and cross-functional collaboration. Serve as internal administrator for Workamajig tool for project planning, trafficking, and reporting, as well as champion its use across department. Support operational needs including process improvement, resource management, and scheduling.
- Manages resources effectively and oversees budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and return on investment while adhering to financial targets.
- Engage in cross-functional collaboration, partnering with sales, operations, product, human resources and other teams to ensure marketing initiatives align with and support broader business objectives. Facilitates strategic and collaborative engagement with outside third parties including media partners, publications and vendors.
- Support the execution of Healthesystems’ presence at industry conferences and events by partnering with internal marketing resources and assisting in coordination efforts when necessary.
- Manage the Marketing team’s efficiency and operational needs including vetting and maintaining subscriptions, contracts, tools and resources; ensuring SOPs and processes reflect current state and are adhered to; leading, attending and contributing to successful Marketing meetings and collaborative sessions; ensuring the continued maturity of Marketing practice.
Leadership/Supervisory Responsibilities:
Directly supervises employees and directs work of other members of the Marketing team. Performs supervisory responsibilities by managing and allocating employee resources in accordance with company policies, applicable laws and company initiatives/goals. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, training and developing employees; planning, assigning, and directing work (including scheduling); appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Acts as a change agent, and develops a high-performing team in the spirit of exceptional service to all internal and external partners.
Qualifications/Education/Certifications:
Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university (degree in Communications, Media, Advertising or Marketing preferred) and demonstrated experience managing B2B media campaigns, resources, budgets and marketing staff; Workers’ Compensation, Insurance, Healthcare, or Technology experience a plus; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to manage Marketing resources and staff including creative team members, media planning roles and coordinators.
- Excellent writing, editing, and grammar skills; excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a dynamic environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office environment (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), Google Analytics, familiar with Adobe Creative Suite and Salesforce/Marketing Cloud Account Engagement or other relevant CRM a plus; ability to learn a suite of other marketing tools and resources.
- Demonstrated experience managing a marketing project management system, such as Work amajig.
- Fiscally responsible, with ability to manage and support marketing budget using a variety of tools such as budgeting software, expense and invoice tools (such as SAP Concur) and spreadsheets.
- Detail oriented, organized, and focused on accuracy.
- Ability to analyze marketing data, communicate and present findings and use insight to inform strategy.

Duties are performed primarily in a home office setting utilizing computer equipment. Travel to attend meetings and visit locations throughout the country may be required.
