Summary
The Sales Analyst is responsible for implementing and supporting strategic and tactical initiatives associated with Growth, including but not limited to; account and opportunity maintenance, managing key sales tools & services, programs and sales training. Key responsibilities include sales reporting and analysis, documenting more complex report development, conduct some sales training, maintenance of standard operating procedures. The sales analyst will execute and ensure adherence to established SOPs. Data skills are required to leverage data in order to provide insights, while being able to effectively communicate with executive leaders to inspire change and performance to company targets. This role will report to the Sales Operations Leader.
This position will support our Enterprise under our Sales Operations team. It is eligible to work a hybrid schedule, generally requiring work in-office and/or show-site 2-3 days per week. The ideal candidate will be based out of any of the following locations:
- Dallas, TX
- Chicago, IL
- Orlando, FL
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights across several reporting platforms (Salesforce/CRM Analytics, SAP, Netsuite, PowerBI)
- Create and maintain documentation on reports.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Salesforce and other data visualization tools for Leadership.
- Provides analysis of trends, gaps, and expirations to sales/leaders and related reporting. Create, analyze and recommend actions based on trends within key performance indicators. Maintaining key performance indicators as assigned. Ensures continuity and successful delivery against these metrics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into data-driven solutions.
- Perform data cleansing, validation, and enrichment to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Fostering the culture of continuous improvement of services, seeking proactive approaches to solve business needs/problems, while also enhancing the understanding and acceptance of Enterprise Sales Operations supportive capabilities. Provide recurring analysis and evaluation of the internal workflow processes.
- Provides Enterprise Sales Operations representation in business analysis activities initiated by other departments to collaborate with business users and consult with other departments to ensure business impacts are appropriately addressed.
- Coordinates with management and staff engaged in application development, coding, testing, user acceptance testing, and the live system to ensure business requirements are consistently represented and satisfied.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data analysis and Salesforce.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, High School Diploma or Equivalent with relevant work experience required.
- 3+ years of experience in some aspect of sales process (sales support, sales operations) is preferred.
- Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Software applications, PowerBI, SharePoint and Salesforce.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational skills
