About the Role
We are seeking a Finance Sr Analyst, to support the Technology Segment’s global management team towards achieving our company’s short-and long-term financial goals. This position will play a key role in serving as the liaison connecting our frontline practitioners with our finance back offices, shaping the way our leaders see how they create value for the segment and helping them manage financial performance of our organization. We are seeking people with solid experience with financial statements and reports, finance operations, processes and systems, data modeling and analysis. The role will report to the Finance Lead, Technology Segment, with direct exposure to the segment’s leadership team.
Help manage the month-end close and quarter-end close financial processes alongside the accounting team to provide information and identify and troubleshoot issues as needed.
Design and produce appropriate monthly management reports for the segment leadership and the firm’s Executive Management; develop models and presentations to present financial data, and continuously improve reporting content and process to meet evolving needs.
Analyze the segment’s financial performance and derive appropriate business intelligence to inform decision-making, working with segment/regional/industry leaders to identify business drivers, issues and opportunities.
Actively participate in quarterly forecasts and budgets by helping to build business projections, assessing risks and opportunities, providing analysis for management’s decision making, calculating economic assumptions, determining and managing cost and revenue allocations
Support the long-term strategic planning process, understanding the broader business landscape (competitors, clients, pricing trends).
Partner with Human Resources to ensure that talent and compensation planning are aligned with forecast/ budget goals/constraints, as well as with strategic business needs.
Work alongside business practitioners to help resolve ad hoc inquiries into financial matters such as billing, utilization, revenue recognition, etc.
Help manage the Technology Finance department’s processes and cadence; support operational improvements within the Technology Finance department to increase our productivity and enhance our role in supporting the business.
Develop and track a consistent set of key financial/operational performance indicators (KPIs), such as pricing trends and profitability.
As needed, participate in, and/or lead portions of, financial modeling requirements for potential acquisitions, accretion/dilution analysis, etc.
Participate in, and/or lead special projects / ad hoc analysis as needed.

What You Will Need To Succeed
Basic Qualifications
BS or BA Degree.
3+ years of experience in financial areas with focus on financial analysis and operations:
Budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning and overall FP&A duties.
Financial statements and analyses (variance/ trend analyses, valuation), financial operations, management reporting processes.
Experienced user of financial systems, including databases such as TM1, Oracle, SAP, Hyperion, Unit4 or others.
Experienced user of Microsoft Office suite of products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Fast, eager learner and versatile; ability to adapt to complex, changing, ambiguous environments.
Proactive, self-starter with a leader mindset; ability to help manage the team workload and seek opportunities to contribute.
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; this position does not provide visa sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
BS in Accounting, Economics or Finance.
CPA, CFA, or MS/MBA.
Working knowledge of revenue recognition rules under US GAAP and practical application into revenue forecasting.
Ability to influence others without direct reporting relationships; ability operate in a matrix organization.
Experienced user of data modeling and presentation tools such as PowerBI
