If you are an enthusiastic self-starter with a passion for selling and you enjoy working with customers, then we want you to be part of our team as an Automotive Sales Consultant.

The ideal candidate has a positive attitude, a confident and outgoing personality, a professional appearance, great communication skills, and the ability to deliver world-class customer service. 1-2 years of experience is preferred, but not required. He or she must be self-motivated with a willingness to continuously prospect to sell a minimum quota (or more!) on an ongoing basis.

 


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Helps customers with vehicle selection and promotes model options and features, value-add products and services, and purchase and finance options following dealership policies
  • Conducts vehicle test drives and ensures all speed limits all other rules of the road are followed
  • Negotiates sale closure in a clear, concise, and highly ethical fashion
  • Helps facilitate delivery by providing a clear explanation of vehicle and features operation, warranty, and servicing requirements
  • Maintains accurate sales documentation
  • Maintains up-to-date knowledge of all vehicles, accessories, financing options, and promotions
  • Attends all staff meetings, training, and educational classes as required
  • Helps educate/train new staff members
  • Performs other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous 1-2 years Automotive sales experience
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact professionally with customers, co-workers, management, and others
  • Must be able to combine customer service skills with a strong close
  • Must not have bounced from one sales job to the next
  • Must be a "people person" but still know how to control the deal
  • Must have an excellent attendance record and a commitment to being on time
  • Must have a valid and clean driver's license
  • Must be able to pass a drug test and a background check
  • Basic computer and internet skills
  • A track record of successful sales, high earnings, and a portfolio of previous customers
  • Must have an energetic and enthusiastic approach to customer interaction.
  • Must have strong computer skills and follow the sales process.

Benefits/ Compensation

Salary Plus Commission 
Up to $150,000
