The Digital marketing lead must oversee all aspects of the digital marketing including strategy, planning, monitoring campaign budgets, reporting on campaign’s overall performance, and helping in building strategies for a lasting digital connection with consumers. Their day-to-day duties will see them understanding brand and business goals and devising digital strategies and plans to grow brand and business. Strategizing with the digital marketing agencies to plan and deliver successful digital campaigns and performance. Take complete ownership of driving KONE’s digital footprint and success in India and South Asia.

Key Responsibilities:

Digital strategy and goal setting: Strategy, planning and performance for all business lines and brand

  • Create a clear vision and roadmap to build the digital footprint for KONE brand in India.
  • Set long-term and short-term digital marketing strategies and goals for growing the brand and business
  • Identify relevant channels and formats linked to business objectives
  • Incorporate new digital platforms/technologies to augment existing channels
  • Create and maintain monthly/quarterly activities calendar for all digital activities

Campaign Management: Leading performance-focused digital marketing campaigns across paid and organic channels. Break down broad business goals into actionable goals and tasks

  • Lead all multi-channel digital campaigns (SEO, SEM, PPC, social media, email, WhatsApp)
  • Ensuring all paid campaigns on Google, Meta, and LinkedIn with strict ROI and CPL benchmarks
  • Track and report on campaign performance using analytics tools and present insights to stakeholders.
  • Ensure digital campaigns directly contribute to lead generation, pipeline growth, and customer engagement
  • Develop targeted email and WhatsApp campaign journeys for lead nurturing and customer engagement
  • Conduct A/B testing on creatives, ad copies, and landing pages to maximize performance
  • Keep abreast of emerging digital marketing tools, platforms, and competitor activities to identify opportunities
  • Managing and locating media budgets
  • Monitor competitor activity and industry trends 

Content Marketing: Support the brand team with content promotion for landing pages, blogs, and social media, ensuring alignment with overall marketing and business goals.

SEO Management: Oversee SEO activities, including content strategy and technical improvements to enhance organic search visibility.

Website Management: Work with the global website team on managing the India website. Work closely with the global digital hub to optimize website content for better rankings and conversions.

CRM campaign management: Plan and execute CRM customer journey-based campaigns on the salesforce marketing automation platform with the global marketing team.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with the global, internal marketing and sales teams and external partners to ensure cohesive marketing strategies and consistent messaging across platforms.

Technical and behavioral proficiency

  • Strong knowledge of SEO, SEM, Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Campaign Manager
  • Proficiency with digital analytics tools (Google Analytics, Adobe, Search Console, social media analytics
  • Creative in devising B2B and B2C informative, engaging digital and social media campaigns
  • Up-to-date knowledge of digital marketing trends and development is a must
  • Understanding of landing pages optimization, user funnels and A/B testing
  • Knowledge of AI in digital marketing and other new age technology is a must
  • Experience with content creation tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar) will be added advantage
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to measure and improve campaign performance

Qualification and required skills

  • Typically requires 5 to 8 years of experience in digital or performance marketing, with proven experience in running ROI driven multi-channel campaigns on the brand side or digital agency.
  • Certifications in digital marketing (e.g., Google Ads, HubSpot) are also beneficial.
  • Strategic thinking is necessary to understand the target audience and develop a suitable marketing mix for the purpose of increasing market share and profitability.
  • Experience in marketing B2B/B2B2C would be an added advantage
  • Creative thinker who can disrupt and engage
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for presenting ideas and collaborating with teams.
